The first and only edition of this year's 'Sport is Women - Breakfast of Champions' project is behind us. The event, organised by the Foundation with the support of the City of Łódź, was again held at the Sports Bay of the Łódź University of Technology - this is the third year in a row that Łódź has taken the project under its patronage. The event was attended by more than 100 students of Łódź schools, which confirms the great interest in initiatives developing sport and a conscious approach to physical activity among young people.
Champions, knowledge and practice - with NILS as a supporting partner
The programme combined substantive speeches by invited female champions with a practical part led by a female coach. Young people had the opportunity to hear about the road to success, building perseverance, dealing with pressure and how to set realistic, motivating goals. In the exercise section, they were able to immediately put into practice a set of simple, effective tasks to repeat on their own - so that the new habits stay with them for longer. NILS, which supports initiatives promoting sport and healthy lifestyles among young people, was a partner of the event. This combination of inspiration, knowledge and movement translated into a solid dose of motivation, and participants left the room with a ready-made toolkit for action.
